| Diane White, born in Manchester England in 1949, she was raised and educated in Salford near Manchester, even in her early days she excelled at art and was chosen by her school to take lessons with one of England's top artists Sir Harold Riley.
Diane now lives in Somerset West near Cape Town South Africa. She worked for many years as a Architectural Draughtswoman.Her love of animals wildlife and the African landscape shows in her many portrayals of them.She also has a love of flowers which are done in vibrant colours in a very bold manner using the palette knife.
Diane paints in water colours, oils and acrylics. She has took part in many exhibitions including the South African Society of Artists and the Western Cape Watercolour Society and won various commendations. Her work can be found in various galleries in South Africa, and also in many private collections in England,America,Germany,Holland,Spain and Australia.
