LDR Engines is your friendly one-stop, hassle-free supplier of quality used engines and gearboxes for the motor trade and the public alike. We sell complete engines, including the starter, alternator, aircon, power steering pumps – and turbocharger, if the original engine had a turbo. LDR Engines has dedicated mechanics on site and sales staff with mechanical backgrounds, available to advise and assist should you have any queries.
Unlike most suppliers in South Africa, we import our engines exclusively from England and not Japan, because England is the best source of high-quality engines. Our engines have never been opened or worked on and have covered between 80,000 and 120,000 kilometres from new. Each engine is washed and packaged to your needs, and we perform a compression test on all of our petrol engines.
We have our own service and fitment division. We will collect your car for free if it is within 60km of our Pretoria or Cape Town workshops. Every engine fitted by us comes with a three-month warranty; if you prefer to do the work yourself, our engines have a one-month warranty.
We stock engines for most models of Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Jaguar, Kia, Land Rover, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Opel, Renault, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo. We also supply engines for other makes: if we do not have the engine you need, we can source it for you. |
