Cape Agulhas is the Southern most region in Africa. This is where the Indian & Atlantic Oceans meet. We have an historic lighthouse which is still in working order. Cape Agulhas is surrounded by Nature Reserves, and is now an Eco Conscious region. Crime is virtually non existant, and your heart will be warmed when you are greeted by our friendly community. Although we do not have a high number of permanent residents, the area is still quite big, as it includes Struisbaai, L'Agulhas, Suiderstrand & Arniston. The "Hotagterklip" houses as you enter into Struisbaai are National Monuments. Our Anglican Church is also a National Monument and is still used for small weddings. The well known Struisbaai Harbour was built in 1959. The area is well known for its 14 kilometer long white sandy swimming beach. It is also the longest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. The Southern Wright Whale visits our coastline every year from May to October where they stay until they have finished mating and given birth. The area is home to more than 8500 Fynbos (indigenous plant including the Protea) species and 6000 of these are only found in the Western Cape.

The truth about investing in vacant land, is that investors are likely to make higher profits, depending on the price bracket they choose. In Struisbaai there are still some plots available in a new development in Ocean View Heights. I have only singled out a few examples under my listings, but we still have more options to choose from. If you send me an E-Mail with your specific investment requirements, then I will gladly canvass/ load the listings for you. I look forward to hearing from you. Louis Wiese (CEA) RE/MAX Overberg.
