| THE QUAFFERY |
| The Quaffery serves only the freshest, finest, handpicked, pure Arabica coffee sourced from, among others: the cool highland forests of Ethiopia and Kenya (Yirgacheffe, Terranova, Limu) the steamy jungles of Guatamala and Costa Rica (Santa Rosa) the dry savannahs of India (Mysore) many more... all culminating in an exquisite cup of coffee. Our coffee expert is constantly on the lookout for exotic, excellent and superior pure mountain grown Arabica coffee beans! As freshness is our highest priority, our cuppuccinos are made from a double espressso (14 grams - double the amount used by ordinary typical coffee-shops) portion of freshly-ground beans ensuring that our customers enjoy the freshest, finest coffee available at the proper concentrations (i.e. one third coffee, two thirds milk and frothed milk). Freshness is Key The Quaffery prides itself on serving perfect cups of quality, quaffable coffee, accompanied by tasty light meals and sandwiches prepared to the customer's taste from the freshest ingredients. If it's not fresh we don't serve it! We also sell freshly-roasted beans that can be enjoyed in the comfort of your home. Our beans are roasted under our personal supervision and stored under optimal conditions to ensure that your home coffee-drinking experience is at the same high standard that we maintain in the Quaffery. If you already have wireless working on your machine connecting to us is a cinch State-of-the-Art Equipment To guarantee that every cup of coffee meets our high standards we use: Ditting dosing grinders which grind a measured only when the coffee is made. Ensruing fresh and consistent portion of beans, Brasilia Espresso Machines, the machine of choice among coffee afficianados, and Triple-filtered water - our water goes through a triple filtering process before it arrives in your cup. Coffee-Tastings We normally hold Coffee-tastings at The Quaffery on the last Thursday of each month starting at 17:30. Not only are interesting coffees sampled but each tasting is accompanied by an informative talk. Cost of admission is R35.00 and includes light snacks and at least 4 coffees.
