| About Us Southern Art Ceramic Design Studio The myTILE team is dedicated to creating inspirational objects. The team consists of Gillian Greer,Hele' Oosthuizen, Grace Mcinjana and myself, Gerrit Oosthuizen. At present the focus is on supplying refreshing tile options for the home or corporate environment. Southern Art Ceramics Blog At the blog, Gerrit will create an active web log about design and "life" creating "Clayart for Architecture and Design" Observations and ideas related to design, interiors, art and other life enhancing subjects will be reflected on frequently. The timeline from start to present. 1986 - 89: Both Gillian and Gerrit completed a Diploma in Fine Arts at the Vaal Triangle Technicon. !990: We settled in Hermanus, young and eager to develop our art careers, but the reality of earning a constant income, soon led to the birth of our ceramic studio, specializing in high quality dinner ware. Souther Art specializes in the customizatio of briefs for architecture and design. Our tiles and tile panel are world renoewned and cover realistic to clasical and abstract modern styles. |
