SPICE stands for Self-worth, Passion, Inspiration, Commitment and Edutainment (www.spice4life.co.za). Lead by Michelle Korevaar (nominated for Woman of the Year and Businesswoman of the Year 2005). This network aims to educate and empower women and enhance their quality of life by providing easy access to a wide variety of research and informative communication. This equips women with the tools needed to be successful providers for their family and work place respectively.
It is a web-based service and as Michelle says: "we see ourselves as a spider web, connecting businesses and individuals with like minded entities, not duplicating existing structures, but amalgamating the variety of all, to one, easily accessible point of contact. It's about networking and marketing ("fulfilling a need") information that is valuable to the female consumer.
SPICE believes community work is the work of all, and not one, and therefore social responsibility is an integral part of the SPICE structure. "working within a community is the most humbling, inspiring and realistic way of fulfilling ones full potential as a business representative and as a soulful individual.
And thus SPICE believes in INSPIRING INDIVIDUALS.
Whether it be with entrepreneurial workshops or glitzy fashion shows: SPICE knows what women want and aim to please, making it freely available on the spice4life.co.za website.
From February 2006, SPICE will be joining forces with powerful female networks country wide, amalgamating their resources to empower the female business leaders of today and tomorrow and inspire the women of South Africa who are raising the future leaders of our country.
a climax is planned for August - in celebration of Women's day and loads of new exciting information on the www.spice4life.co.za website.
