| THE VOICE STUDIO |
| Jason started his audio career studying at Cape Audio College in 1996 training as a recording engineer. During this time he got involved in live sound when he was approached by members of the local band DORP. He worked with them for 3 years doing all their and their support bands live sound at various venues aswell as festivals such as Wingerdstok, Woodstock, Stilbaai and Hangklip. He eventually decided to start freelancing and started a company called “Front of House Productions” where he did sound for many other great Cape Town based bands including: Lithium Nine Spare Mary Black Milk Supernature Boomslang Cornerhouse Hog Hoggidy Hog Breakfast Included Junglebook Vultures Flowerheads Springbok Nude Girls In 2001 he decided to put his skills to the test in the U.K. Whilst abroad he got involved in the industry setting up the stage, sound and lighting for big bands such as: Matchbox 20 Bon jovi Tool Incubus Mark Knopfler Party in the Park He did some live sound for 2 London Based bands called: Crack Village Saint Faith When he returned to South Africa he started recording again for “Tourism Radio” in Cape Town He was responsible for the screening of all voice talent used as well as recording the clips, radio a.ds, jingles and production of the radio shows to be broadcast. Wanting more, he then decided to start “the Voice Studio” The “Voice Studio” has a constantly growing database of voices for various productions including: Corporate video narration Radio ads Character voice overs Telephonic on hold messaging Voice demo production |
